Mark will be receiving the Master of Photography Degree at the Professional Photographers of America annual convention in Phoenix AZ on Jan 13th, 2009.
The Masters program takes, on average, 6-7 years to complete. Candidates are judged on a level of professional photographic proficiency.

SWPPA is a 5 state photographic association composed of photographers from the states of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas.

Mark's image "Radiant" will appear in the April 2006 Issue of Rangefinder Magazine.

The "Texas Professional Photographer", exclusive magazine of the
Texas Professional Photographers Assoc., showcased Mark's
work on the cover of it's April/May 2004 issue. The two page story
chronicles Mark's acquiring of his first camera in 1974 through his work today.

Mark's program at the Texas Professional Photographers Assoc. Fall Seminar in San Antonio, 2003, set an attendance record for the yearly seminar. Over 220 photographers from all over the Southwest attended this seminar held at the historic St. Anthony's Hotel in downtown San Antonio.
